Skyway Mont Blanc

The first ZEB-certified cable car in Italy on the highest mountain in Europe. The New Mont Blanc Cable Car is a jewel of technology and an impressive work of engineering and architecture that allows tourists to enjoy an incredible panorama of one of the most beautiful peaks of the Alps on the border between Italy and France.

The three stations that make up the ski lift are Pontal d’Entrèves (the valley station), Pavillon du Mont Fréty (the intermediate station) and Punta Helbronner (the mountain station), buildings designed to fit harmoniously into the surrounding environment integrating perfectly with the undulating Alpine context.

The visionary project sees Advanced Engineering responsible for the energy optimization of the intervention as a whole, for the energy concept, for the technological development of the architecture and for the design and construction management of all the systems.

The uniqueness of the places and the peculiarity of the climatic conditions have led to the study of customized design solutions both from a plant engineering and construction point of view capable of reducing maintenance costs, while simultaneously maximizing the production of electricity through the installed photovoltaic systems.​
